A very nice way to "wear" your own hair.I felt different in many ways, especially after having to cut your hair. But the moment I put on the headband I really felt like myself again!Very nice company that only employs people who help you very well, even had contact with them during the weekend because it needed to be cut.Very grateful that this exists!

Besides choosing a hairpiece, I also wanted to be able to use my own hair. I always went to the hairdresser every 6 weeks and was always busy with my Dyson hair dryer. I thought it was a terrible idea to just let it fall out. Then I decided to have it made into a headband so that I can alternate with my hairpiece. I sent my hair on Wednesday and I had it back on Saturday! Really what a service and how nice to receive emails and a text on the day it was going to be cut, so thoughtful! I'm very happy with it and I just feel completely like myself with my headband and nice winter hat!

We are very happy that we saved our daughter Sofie's hair before the second chemo. Cutting it off was very difficult, but we made the right choice! Wow, you suddenly have to make a lot of decisions when you find yourself in the crazy grind of chemo.I had already selected a hairpiece, but a day before my first chemo I heard about Toupim's hair band. I'm so happy that I cut my own hair in time and had it made into a headband. It feels soft on my neck, natural and not itchy like a piece of hair. The Toupim team gave me fantastic guidance, I went back again to have some donor hair removed because it had become a bit too thick and they cut it to good length for me.With passion, love and care they have created a beautiful bond. Compared to a hair piece, you always have to wear a cap, hat or scarf on it, but I'm going into winter and it looks quite nice.Thank you Toupim, you turned something bad into something beautiful 💕

A very nice team. It felt good from the first contact. I had my hair cut there on the spot. My friend, sister and dog (I had asked them to make it a day out from Arnhem with a walk in the Westerpark) were there to support me. It was actually quite fun. After 2 days I received the photos and an hour later my hair. I am very happy with it and wear it with a very nice feeling. In the meantime, my head is becoming balder, but I just took a walk with locks dancing in the wind. I still wear my own hair, I just wear it differently now. With great pride and joy. And in the mirror and in photos I see myself. That supports me enormously in these chaotic times. Thank you Sylvia for ever coming up with and developing this. How fortunate that my hair was just long enough to make a band and that I was able to cut it off in time when my hair started to discolour due to the chemo and fell out despite using the cold cap! The advance instructions (including cold cap scenario) and the contacts with the people at Toupim were very personal, professional and warm and the headband with loose strands turned out so beautiful... I feel very comfortable wearing this. I can even take it to yoga and not have to skip a pose! It helps me feel less sick. Both for myself and for the outside world! April 2023: Contacts with Toupim always felt like a warm bath. All employees I dealt with were very friendly and empathetic. I 100% support the choice of your own headband instead of a wig. It's fantastic to see your own hair under your hat/cap/cap in the mirror. It also feels wonderful to feel your own hair against your face and neck again. Toupim and the headband are a ray of sunshine in a difficult time.Update August 2024: I have now experienced that Toupim's customer service is also great. A problem has been solved very well. So very happy that I made this choice. It was a bit of a swallow and difficult when I started to twist my hair, but what a wonderful and nice feeling I got in return when I put on my own headband. It was clear in advance that I would lose my hair due to chemo. After a short search I arrived at Toupim.I am very happy with the headband that was made. Now it actually looks like I still have my hair. It saves questions and looks, which my children really like.I cut my hair before the first chemo started. I had seen Toupim's account on Instagram before. When I knew that I was going to lose my hair, I requested a brochure via the Toupim website. Everything was clearly explained in the brochure. In addition to receiving the brochure, I also received a message asking if everything was clear. It was very nice that personal contact was made right away. My hairdresser was able to cut my hair properly using the clear instructional videos and then she delivered my hair locks to Toupim. A week later I received a message that I could pick up my own headband. I was received kindly. What a work of art has been made from my own hair! When I put on my own headband, I was 'back again'. I never realized what a defining part hair is of one’s personality. Until I was told my thick semi long hair would disappear with chemo therapy.I did not want to see my hair drop on the shower floor, when taking my daily shower. I opposed the thought of noticing my thinning hair in the mirror, with no control, and not knowing when my own hair would return.My sister drew my attention to the TOUPIM own-hair headband. I contacted them and they explained the process. Together with my sister and a dear friend, we sat in the kitchen, and followed the cutting instructions. Taking the scissors was hard, but we laughed and hugged and drank a glass of wine afterwards. I send the hair strings to Sylvia of TOUPIM and one week later I got in return a beautiful headband with my own hair.
